The Garrett Ace 250 offers great depth and is one of the best coin detectors on the market. With all of the features that the Garrett Ace 250 has to offer you would expect to pay much more! Metal detecting is a hobby that just about anyone can enjoy. You can get some exercise and in the process you might find some old coins, jewelry or relics. The Garrett Ace 250 is an excellent entry level metal detector and it will get you hooked on the hobby that pays for itself.

The Garrett Ace 250 has five search modes to cover just about any metal detectorists needs.

All Metal Mode – The name says it all. This mode of operation will detect everything metal.
Jewelry Mode – This mode of operation will help eliminate all of the trash and ID only jewelry.
Relics Mode – This mode of operation will help you ID old Relics.
Coin Mode – This mode of operation will help you Id coins before you dig them and ignore other garbage. Using the LCD screen you can see what coin is buried and about how deep it is!
Custom Mode – This mode of operation is for more advanced operation and will allow you to notch or ignore certain objects based on their metallic values.

With all of these fancy modes of operation you would think something would get sacrificed but it doesn’t. The Garrett Ace 250 is easy to operate and I have used all modes of operation sucessfully. I especially like the coin mode and have found quite a few old coins with my Garrett Ace 250.
